Naming Ceremonies

Holding a naming ceremony is a wonderful way to welcome children into their families and community.

Older children can gain a sense of unity with the family if they didn’t have a naming ceremony when they were babies.  This can be a separate ceremony or included in the welcome to a new baby.

Naming ceremonies are also a special way to welcome adopted and step-children into their new or extended families.

Sometimes adults want to change their birth names.  A ceremony that celebrates a name they have chosen for themselves can help them to find a new sense of identity.

My Fee for a Naming Ceremony is $300*. A 50% ($150) non-refundable booking deposit secures your ceremony date in my diary and guarantees that I will not enter into any other contract for that day/time.  The deposit must be paid when making your booking.

Any outstanding balance is due 10 days before the date of your ceremony.  Payments can be made by cash, PayPal/Credit Card or Internet banking transfer.  Tax invoices are provided for all fees.
